DR Congo : in Bapere, recurring ADF attacks push young gold miners into unprecedented unemployment

In the Bapere sector in Lubero territory in the North-Kivu province in the Eastern of the Democratic Republic of Congo ( DRC ), young people working in the mining areas ( gold mines ) around the town of Manguredjipa are going through a very precarious life following the recurring attacks perpetrated by alleged ADF terrorist fighters active in the area since June 2024.
