At Maiko National Park, the closing of the Month dedicated to women’s rights was marked by a special parade held in Osso at the park’s headquarters, bringing together staff in a moment that was both symbolic and inspiring.
In a warm atmosphere filled with appreciation, we celebrated those who, every day, help bring the park to life.
Rangers, administrative staff, and field actors—each, in her own way, plays an essential role in protecting biodiversity and ensuring the effective functioning of Maiko. This meaningful moment reminds us that conservation is also built through the commitment of women.
It reflects a dynamic the park continues to promote by fostering an inclusive environment grounded in collaboration, respect, and the recognition of women’s leadership.
